| Thank you so much for your work in the FCET. I receive your messages from David Clemens of Nortel, a friend from church. What you have said has spoken to me so many times. Much more so than the many other lists I am on. I lost my dear friend and husband last year to a brain tumor. He was also an engineer (environmental, hydrologist & civil, ISO 9000), but he never knew of the FCET. He would have loved it! Please do not let Satan get in your way -- keep spreading the good news. In Christ,

| I have been meaning to write to you and express how much I enjoy the mailings you send out. More times than not I can tell the Holy Spirit is at work, meaning that it is usually something I can really relate to at the time I receive it and sometimes even things I don't want to hear but need to! I wanted to thank you for the time, energy, care and love you are putting into your Ministry. Somedays I feel you wrote your message just for me! So I'm praying that God will keep you strong and able to keep up with your Ministry! Your Sister in Christ,

Several months ago, a friend of mine in France, Yves Humilier, showed me some FCET stories and I was very interested to read some every day. That's why he introduced me to you. I've received your letters every day for one month and I'm very glad. Just a few words can change your way to lead your day. I'm 25. I've worked for only 10 months so I've just started my professionnal life. I'm not an engineer like most part of the people of the network but we love the same GOD and we are all His sons. I am a management controller.

| I appreciate all you do to encourage other brothers and sisters in Christ and following the Great Commision and share the good news. You will probably never know the impact of what you are doing on this side of heaven. God's wisdom helps me draw closer to Him. In Him,

| I've been working at my current company for nearly 1.5 year. When I had my first interview with my Director, after having passed all the Human Resources tests, I didn't want to apply for the job anymore. For some reasons (I won't expose, you'll understand) it seemed very far from what I've expected. Knowing that another interview I have made in a small firm should work (with less responsibility, less international opening, less salary ... but a more quiet & peaceful job!) I prayed the Lord to act so that my present company would not hire me but the small firm would. Do you believe that? Applying for my first real job (I'm 27), I prayed the Lord to prevent a firm from hiring me, so that I could find one somewhere else. But having prayed this way I felt uneasy and the Lord made me remember the prayer He made to His Heavenly Father just before the Jews captured Him in the Garden of Gethsemanea: "Father, if You could remove this hard time (...) but however, not my will but Your will". After that I sensed my prayer was not complete so I added: "However, not my will but Your will." It really cost me to say that because I really did not want to work at my present company. But above all, I had to obey the Lord. And you know what ... immediately after my prayer I felt this kind of peace, love, and feeling that I did it the right way... 2 days later, my present company hired me... and I accepted. I realized that even if I don't understand -- even if the circumstances or appearances are against us -- I had to simply trust Jesus. After one year and a half, I realize the place I have here at my present company is the best place I could get at all levels... I know that too often we don't see things as God sees them. Looking at the way the Lord works into my life (and into christians' around me) I'm wondering if I'm not here only because the Lord knew it was a good way to strenghten my faith (through ITG, testimonies, shares, prayers requests ...) and to learn how to be useful and fruitful at my workplace. I experience some material blessings thanks this job. But looking with God's eyes I'm more and more feeling His priority was my spiritual blessings... which I couldn't even imagine when applying for the job!

| I just wanted to send you a brief note to let you know what a blessing it is to be on the ITG mailing list. I just heard about the Nortel Christian Fellowship web page a few weeks ago after a small group of us (3) got together at lunch to share our amazing experiences at the Billy Graham Mission. As a follow-up to that meeting, Iain Woolf sent an email with the web page address and I immediately added my name to the "Stand Up" page and was thrilled to see the names of other Christian in the various Nortel locations. In the hectic, stressful environment we work in, we really do need to pause and reflect on what is really important and that is God's love and sharing it with others. I can relate to Jennifer Boland's comments. I am an Administrative Assistant and provide support for about 100 people and I just thank God for my job too and for all of the people I come in contact with. We have such wonderful opportunity here at Nortel to meet people from many different cultures and backgrounds and I know we can make a difference. God bless you and thanks for your efforts.

| I really am touched with the articles that you have written, they seem to have dealt with the situations that I have been going through in my life. I thank God for allowing me to see that there is also someone that has experience the things that I have been through. God has just been so good in my life. He keeps on sending people in my life to bring me up higher to the calling that he has set for my life. I have enjoyed reading the articles that have been sent to me. I just know that I want to be used by God to defeat the strongholds that the enemy have on people. Sometimes I feel like I seem to help people through God's divine wisdom to overcome their strongholds, however I cannot allow my strongholds to diminish. Just pray that I will continue to minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ to this dying generation. I am constantly pressing for the mark that God will have me to be. I will never let anyone, anything, separate me from God. That goes for my family, friends and job. I will never give up on what God has ordained me to do. I can easily let go of those things, however, it's not that easy for me to let go of the spirit of persecution (mental persecution). I don't fear what man does to me, because I know that God will protect me at all cost. The greatest gift that I can give to my father is trust. I trust him totally in all the things in my life. Because I know that he will never leave me nor forsake me. Also, he will give me the desires of my heart and supply all of my needs for my children and I. Yes, I am a single mother. And I know what God can do for me and for others. My life in raising my children is and always will be a testimony to me and to others. No, I don't receive support for my children and they haven't seen their earthly father, however, I have them trusting and believing in God than in man.

I was in New York City for a wedding over the weekend. At the wedding (Catholic) there were two readings to be done. The second one, which was to be read by my girlfriend, was a fire and brimstone passage from the Old Testament that seemed, to me and her, quite out of place at a wedding. We didn't know which book it was from. Plus the paper the passage was written on it was full of mistakes. Later that night I used the FCET search engine to identify it (it was from Deut. 9) Not being satisfied, I typed in a few more words and found a nice passage that felt more appropriate -- a few verses from Ephesians 4. Turns out the sister chose the Deut. Basically out of panic, and perhaps the suggestion of the indifferent priest and was more than happy to substitute in something else. She read the Ephesians passage and it felt better, to us at least. Whether or not anyone else cared who knows. So I just wanted to say: Thanks FCET! You helped us a lot! I think that search engine is one of the best features of the site.

Its great to relate!! I cannot remember who told me about your site, but as an ex-engineer (Royal Navy) its nice to see a christian engineers site. Even after being born again at the age of 37 and having spent time in the ministry, God still has not removed the engineer in me! In fact I have supposed to have retired but have got refired instead. We engineers really are a priviliged bunch. I have been to Uganda twice as a Christian engineer repairing and improving schools, water afcilities and such. I earned the right to be listened to through my skills and led Africans to Christ. Life is a marvellous adventure with God. So you olduns out there, - don't retire - refire!! If I can do it so can you!! (65 this year going on 30!!) Praise the Lord!! Keep On Praisin'!!

| Recently American Public TV stations (PBS) broadcast a show entitled "Peter, Paul, and the Christian Revolution." This is a blatant attempt by a group called "The Jesus Seminar" to deny Christ and the saving power of His Resurrection. It is not the first time PBS has broadcast programs by this group. I wrote and asked PBS to consider showing alternative programming recommended by Chuck Colson, a Christian radio broadcaster and leader of a prison ministry. They said they would look into it, but have not corresponded with me further, or taken any action. I have begun gathering information on how PBS is funded. One way is through corporate underwriters. The list of companies providing funds to PBS is located at: http://www.pbs.org/insidepbs/annualreport/2002/Und erwriters.pdf. I would like to encourage FCET members to review this list, and, if they work for one of these corporations, petition to have funding removed.
