In My Father's House

My bride of 48 years died of a heart attack in 1984. Her birthday is May 18th and one of the readings I had for that day, this year, was the following:

"In my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." (John 14:2-3)

I think 'my Father's house' is Eternity and the mansions are spaces He has set apart, spaces that we call 'heavens', so I am sure my wife, who loved the Lord very, very much, is in the 'place' the Lord has prepared, the 'mansion' where He will receive us 'unto Himself'.

This year I received the following from our oldest daughter, on May 19, the day after my wife's birthday:

"One of my favorite birds is the Dove. After Mom moved on to the greater glory I would often go for walks to think about her and deal wiht my grief. Whenever I went on these walks I would always see a Dove and therefore associated this wonderful bird with Mom. Although I don't walk outside very much since I joined the fitness club Mom is always in my thoughts. I knew yesterday was her birthday and this day, as well as Mother's Day, bring back the reality that she isn't physically in our presence, however, both last Sunday and again yesterday I saw and heard a beautiful Dove and I knew Mom was close. It may seem strange but whenever I see or hear a Dove I get such peace and feel that she is close by."

To whom it may concern, I feel so sure He is coming again, very soon! Praise the Lord!
