The Why

"But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him." (1 Corinthians 2:9)

If you turn to God, through Jesus Christ,
the soul you have will live.

But if you don’t you’ll never know
the gifts God has to give.

You’ll never see the ones you loved,
who live with Him above;

You’ll never know the spirit’s glow,
nor revel in God’s love;

You’ll never feel, within yourself,
the peace that wipes out pain;

You’ll never walk in paradise,
nor feel His blessed rain;

You’ll never walk through pearly gates,
nor see what lies beyond;

You’ll never see the glorious sights,
nor hear the heavenly sound;

You’ll never know what God’s prepared
for all whose love He has.

So give yourself to Jesus Christ.
The why? Well, just because!
