Divine Encounter, Part 3

(Continued from yesterday.)
"For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works." (2 Corinthians 11:13-15)
I can't remember how it happened. But it did. A full blown conversation about the Lord ensued. Now this was a conversation the Lord had prepared me for, not only because I had been a Christian eighteen years and was zealous to speak about the Lord whenever I could, but also because, lately - during the previous year or more, that is - I had been accustomated to working at the "wee hours" of the morning, that is, past midnight. Though the beliefs presented on this program were often "far and wide" diametrically opposed to Christianity and our Lord's teachings, I had often turned on "Coast to Coast with George Noory," which aired on a local radio station here in the nation's capital. And now, it seemed, I was sitting in front of one of his disciples.
"I've been dead four times," the woman told me.
"I looked for a man to marry with whom I could conceive offspring so that I could bring my mother back," she said.
These were none other than the diabolical teachings of slewfoot himself (Satan), whom, the Bible said, masquerades as an "angel of light". Of course, I was dealing with what is commonly referred to as a "new ager" (whether or not they cared to admit it).
People in the new age movement believe things like this - that they themselves are a reincarnation of someone else, or that someoene else is a reincarnation of someone else, and so forth. Thanks to George Noory, I was now familiar with, and even quite "used to," everything this woman was sharing with me. Not that I approved. I certainly did not. But the information I had gained from that radio show was very valuable to me, for such a time as this!
